The phase in the life of a woman when monthly periods or menses permanently cease to appear and she is no longer able to bear children is known as menopause. To be more specific in the language of medical professionals, when a woman has not had any menstrual bleeding for a year, it is known as menopause. As soon as you identify a child suffering from sexual abuse, the prime steps shall be to stop it and initiate healing. As we know, a child can be sexually abused by the closest possible relative; therefore, even when you are not as close as a parent to a child, you can always educate him or her about child sexual abuse and can help the sufferer when needed. ·         Listen to the child! The child who has come up to you with his sufferings shall not be ever regarded as someone making up stories. Lend your both ears to the child as this would build a bond between you and your child and he would not be scared to narrate his incidents and sufferings to you despite being threatened by the abuser.
